A Snapshot of God
A couple of weeks ago, just after one of the big snow storms, it was another Tuesday night at Glory Outreach. When I arrived, I noticed a great pair of leather boots sitting just on the steps. They looked as though someone had simply stepped out of them to come inside, so I assumed they probably belonged to one of the volunteers.
As the evening went on, Heather came in and began going through all of the shoes on the shelf. She said, “I just stopped off at one of our client’s homes and she is in desperate need of a pair of size 7 boots for the snow.” We kept looking and then I remembered the boots on the stairs. We asked around and they didn’t belong to anyone…they had simply been put there. Do I have to tell you what size they were? Size 7.
My friends, that is how God is working at Glory Outreach… In a mighty and obvious way. May God Bless each of you who continually support this ministry through your time, donations, and finances.

Trip to Sight and Sound
We are in the planning stages to go to see “Joseph” at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Pennsylvania. If interested in going, would you prefer a 1 day trip, or an overnight adventure seeing the play and touring Amish Country with some shopping thrown in? Salem will be participating in a nationwide Gospel sharing event called, "Findithere.com. This is apart of a 10 year process to share the gospel with everyone in the US by 2020. We will survey and invite our community to our Easter services and events and will be linked to the response center for anyone in our area that is seeking Christ. We will also be conducting a prayer covering event the week before our canvas event. Be ready to join in as we share Christ's love with our community. If you would like to help out with this event please let Kevin know! Canvassing Sunday has been set for March 21st. We will gather for lunch made especially for us by Debbie Gayle after church and a have a short training session and then head out in the community. Be a part of this God Sized Gospel Sharing Event!

OCOEE OUTREACH
The dates for the mission trip to Cleveland, TN are July 18th through July 24th, 2010. The applications are in the church foyer. The application needs to be returned by April 4th. If you have any questions please contact Chuck Womble.
NICKELSVILLE, VA
We have another mission outreach opportunity in Nickelsville, VA. This is way out in the extreme southwestern portion of the state. We will be going there to put bunk beds in a ministry center there this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 12th -14th. We will meet here at the church at 7 am, Friday morning. The cost will be, $10 per night lodging, shared cost of gas, and you will be responsible for you own meals. There are food services nearby. If you are interested in going, please contact Chuck Womble or the church office so we can arrange transportation.

AWANA
AWANA has a team to participate in the AWANA games! The event will be held on Saturday, March 20th at Calvary Baptist, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, in Colonial Heights. Come out and support our kids! If they win this event they will compete the next week in The Day Of Champions!
