Community Hunger Relief Project

During this event we will package individual meals for over 20,000 people who are on starvation diets
around the world. We invite all members of Hermon Baptist Association churches to participate and to
invite your friends and neighbors to take part with you. The cost of this project will be $5,000.
Salem will receive love offerings on June 27 and July 11 to help meet this need.

Through Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program, volunteers are able to package highly nutritious dehydrated rice and soy meals to feed the world’s most impoverished.  The meals consist of a combination of rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, flavoring and a mixture of 21 vitamins and minerals into reasonable servings of six.
